What will you be learning about:

This free online seminar will explain how low-rise timber framed buildings can be designed, specified and constructed using structural timber elements that meet the requirements of the Building Regulations and follow the guidance provided in Approved Document B (England). The session will draw on key publications produced by the STA which cover the fire resistance of wall and floor elements as well as cavity barriers and fire stopping.

The session will be delivered by the STAs Technical Director Dr Paul Newman who has over 30 years of experience working in and around the timber frame industry in both manufacturing and consultancy.

This session will be useful for anyone involved in the design construction of low-rise timber frame structures.
